This program allows you to save a screen into ram:
The Smarticon command can be run from any CLI prompt just type
1>Run Smarticon
You will notice that there is another gadget on the sizing gadgets, it's the
picture of the small disk, if you click this INSTEAD of closeing the window,
smarticon will save that screen into RAM: All you have to do is open your
RAM: and click on the icon for the window that Smarticon creates and WOW
there is you window. This program is well written, however, you must have
any screens you want to be affected open prior to running Smarticon. This
means if you want a Word Processor to save into RAM: you must open the Word
Processor and then with the screen showing (drag the screen down so you can
get at the workbench) run Smarticon. This is the only way I have found to
save a running program. Opening disk drawers and disks are unaffected, they
get the Smarticon gadget, only new "SCREENS" will not work, that is why I
stress open all screens you want affected first then run Smarticon. If you
find any more features or better ways to use this program, please leave me
feedback on.
